Who?  Professional and pre-professional (college) artists are invited to join the co-op

How it works: When artists join the co-op, they commit to teaching one class per 8-14 week session.  In return they are able to take the full session of  weekly classes free of charge. The length of the session depends on the number of participating artists. Taught on a loosely rotating basis by a pool of regional professional artists, the cooperative is based in modern/contemporary dance but offer a rich variety of instructors, styles, and genres from week to week. Classes span modern techniques, contemporary partnerwork, ballet, jazz, floorwork and conditioning/rolling, and more.

When and where?  Co-op classes have been suspended due to COVID-19. Check back soon for 2020-2021 session dates, at Kinetics Dance Theatre, 3280 Pine Orchard Lane, Ellicott City, MD.

Want to take class without teaching?  A drop-in rate of $10 is available for artists who prefer not to join the teaching rotation.
